Access to the Mobile App

Although the App is designed for First Responders and has many features that you may not wish to use ... it can be a great addition to the BroomsMen Member Toolkit. These will be covered in other documents. This will allow you to do the following:

• Operate your smartphone as a sophisticated live-streaming BodyCam with voice activation.
• View the location of other members of your Private Group via GPS on Street Maps or high resolution satellite images.
• See the location of events and group gatherings on Street Maps or high resolution satellite images.
• Record audio-video of events and live stream to other members.
• Conduct secure, encrypted communications with other BroomsMen (text, audio, video, send pictures, etc.).
• Use your smartphone as a live-streaming Dash Cam for your vehicle.
• Monitor multiple video feeds from other members, in real-time.

This commercially available Mobile App will only work on Android Devices. It is NOT available for Apple devices. The reason is simple. The Android OS is “Open Source” which means Apps can be developed that run on Android devices that DO NOT have to be distributed via “Google Play” (Google App Store). If we provide the App from Google Play, then BIG TECH can shut us down anytime they want (censorship). If we use an App that is distributed DIRECTLY from the developer, we do NOT have to go through Google Play. This is only true for Android Devices. Apple has a proprietary OS and it requires that all Apps must come from iTunes (Apple App Store). So that we are not under the control of Big Tech, the Mobile App we recommend for BroomsMen will only run on Android devices.

If you currently have an Apple iPhone ... and you want to use the Mobile App and be connected with other BroomsMen, we suggest you get a “cheap” Android burner phone and dedicate it to BroomsMen activities.

Mobile App is FREE to use

The SentryMDU Mobile App is free to download and use. The Mobile App is provided by Digi-Lumen Technologies, LLC, the developer of this software (and sponsor of BroomsMen.Org). Since this App is commercial software designed for First Responders there are “premium” options ($$ subscription) available. However, for most BroomsMen Members, the standard free version should be more than adequate. Read the SentryMDU User Guide for details.
